The requirements for this coffee machine prohibited the need of electricity to provide an espresso of quality. Therefore I focussed my attention to manpowered portable coffee machine to solve this issue. As hot water could be provided with a other device, I came to the conclusion that the necessary pression of 9 bars could be achieved with a CO2 canister to increase the productivity and the reliability of the machine.

Short duty cycle allows for quick use
The final product fonctions without any moving part, allowing quick and easy cleaning. The system is secured with a release pressure valve and the desired pressure can be precisely obtained due to the pressure regulator valve and the pressure gauge. The top of the device can be taken out with two screws to permit repairs and maintenance. The look of the product is derived from the Carbonator II with its sleek design.
